Our flowers have bloomed and the grass is a bit greener, so I brought the boys out for an afternoon of outdoor play. My oldest son loved every second of it, but my youngest (who turns one next Tuesday and just began walking) did not enjoy having to wear his new shoes. That child would be naked head to toe all day everyday if he could. The munchkins played in the sand box and rode the Big Wheels and we smelled the flowers and went for a stroll around the block. I felt so happy and alive being out in the sunshine and fresh air. I guess I didn't realize how much I missed nature. Hopefully this was just one of many happy outdoor days of fun and frolic...
Those who know me know that I have many passions and need to be creating something at all times. Whether it's a Play Doh castle with my boys or bridal jewelry for a friend, my hands have to be busy. My latest creative endeavor is my peyote stitch bracelets...I'm in love with them! I sit at my computer for hours, listening to Howard Stern (one of my guilty pleasures) and stitch away. I love the whole process form creating the patterns to buying the beads and finally taking pictures of the finished bracelet. They are so relaxing to make and it's extremely rewarding to have a one of a kind piece of wearable art that I've created. Can't wait to get started on the next one....
I'm a wannbe fashionista with a love for being, looking and dressing different. I'm a proud mommy and an evolving jewelry designer. I'm a closet home body, a coffee-oholic, a lover of tattoos and hair dye and I have to admit I am hopelessly obsessed with Howard Stern. Music can easily change my mood and so can the amount of sleep I get. I'm currently very sad about the amount of scrapbooking I have to do....I'm soooo behind! If I think of anything else I'll be sure to post it here on this, my tiny little dot in a sea of online blogs.
